All the usual legends associated with lord Ganesha are well known to one and all.....
So let's discuss a few more topics pertaining to Ganesha tattwam so that we all can embrace the same in order to be profusely blessed by Lord Ganesha.....

Ganesha is the only God who celebrates a strong unified spiritual association with almost all other forms of gods and goddesses....

With the name "Heramba" his Shivaputra tattwam is extolled by the devotional literature....
With the name of ShaktiGanapathi, he has become synonymous to AadiparaaShakti...
With the name Vishwaksena, the elephant faced God is the celebrated supreme commander of SriVaishnava Sena...
With the name of Skandapoorvaja, he is extolled as the elder brother of Skanda / KumaaraSwaamy / SubrahmanyaSwamy....
Sooryoapaasana reveals the KapiKunjara eakatwam..Hanuman being the direct disciple of lord SooryaDeva, Ganesha too is thus an integral part of soorya tattwam.....
The low frequency sound waves emitted by the Sun when translated into a graph, yield the pattern of Omkaara naadam .....

Hence, Ganapathi aaraadhana essentially intertwines the Panchaayatana aaraadhya deavataa ganam and brings in the unified blessings of the same....
The most celebrated and authoritative, Sri Ganapati Atharvashirsha Upanishat / శ్రీ గణపత్యథర్వషీర్షోపనిషత్
extolls Ganapati stating " అర్ధేం᳚దుల॒సితం "

which is typically attributed to Shiva and Shakti...
Hence, as stated by sathguru Shree ChaaganTi gaaru in one of his pravachanams,
"Chandrarekhanu dharinchi undaydi Ganesha paratattwam kooDaa..."
Hence Ganesha isn't just ShivaShaktyaatmakam but also aadyantarahita, aadi poojita paratattwam....
The modakam / Laadukam / Laddu held by him signifies the paripoorna tattwam of Ganapati parabrahmam...i.e.,
you name it....he has it.... &
you name it.....he is it....
because he is this and that and everything that we can think of.....
as explained all along the Sri Ganapati Atharvashirsha Upanishat....
Hence, right from a small kid who looks at the Laddu held by Ganapati to a spiritual wise veteran who looks and meditates on the Chandrarekha adorned by Ganapathi...
everyone is drawn to the elephant faced Ganapathi
like a magnet and is blessed profusely with all that is prayed for.....
For a common person, Sun is a distant star that shines bright every day.....
For a scientist, Sun is the central driving force of the entire solar system that can never be understood fully owing to the limitations of unbearable temperatures surrounding the Solar sphere....
For a spiritual folk, Sun is the Savitrumandala madhyavarthi who resonates in their Gayatri Shakti and Saavitri dyuti as per their Soorya aaraadhana by considering him as the pratyaksha paramaatma.....
So would be the scenario, with lord Ganesha...
Based on the classification of a person's devotional strata, Ganesha would be understood differently by each given person.....
Let's suppose that there is a cascaded system of several mirrors as shown in the movie "Karthikeya-2", such that an initial light ray when projected on the first mirror will be refracted on to the second mirror and the cascaded chain of mirrors continue to lit up the entire area....
Similarly, our initial ray of bhakti is auto-captured by Ganesha paratattwam upon his darshanam and it sequentially immerses the devotee, based on the magnitude of the devotion, into a cascaded chain of enlightenment there by letting him realise the eternal universal existence of the Ganesha paratattwam as stated by the below verse in the Sri Ganapati Atharvashirsha Upanishat / శ్రీ గణపత్యథర్వషీర్షోపనిషత్
" త్వమేవ సర్వం ఖల్విదం॑ బ్రహ్మా॒సి । త్వం సాక్షాదాత్మా॑ఽసి ని॒త్యం ॥ 1 ॥ "
The 6th verse in the Sri Ganapati Atharvashirsha Upanishat / శ్రీ గణపత్యథర్వషీర్షోపనిషత్ states....
త్వం గు॒ణత్ర॑యాతీ॒తః । త్వం అవస్థాత్ర॑యాతీ॒తః । త్వం దే॒హత్ర॑యాతీ॒తః । త్వం కా॒లత్ర॑యాతీ॒తః । త్వం మూలాధారస్థితో॑ఽసి ని॒త్యం । త్వం శక్తిత్ర॑యాత్మ॒కః । త్వాం యోగినో ధ్యాయ॑ంతి ని॒త్యం । త్వం బ్రహ్మా త్వం విష్ణుస్త్వం రుద్రస్త్వమింద్రస్త్వమగ్నిస్త్వం వాయుస్త్వం సూర్యస్త్వం చంద్రమాస్త్వం బ్రహ్మ॒ భూర్భువః॒ స్వరోం ॥ 6 ॥
Ganesha....
is beyond the nature plane, (Satwa, Rajo, Tamo gunamulu),
is beyond the state plane (Jaagrat, Swapna, Sushupti avasthalu),
is beyond the body plane,(Sthoola, Sookshma, Kaarana deahamulu/Shareeramulu)
is beyond the time plane, (Gatam/Past, Vartamaanam/Present, Bhavishyad/Future kaalamulu),
Hence, he is literally beyond all explainable, comprehensible, realms known to any given entity under the Sun.....
So, it is only because of his sheer grace in accordance to our sincere prayers that can make anyone comprehend him and his Gaanaapatya Vaibhawam.....
Now let's talk about an interesting topic of an elephant faced huge Ganapathi having a small rat as a mount....
A random wavery unorganized rodent symbolises a mere worldly materialistic life that has no other purpose other than eat, sleep, run, accumulate, interfere with unnecessary things, and continue the cycle with no purpose.....neither it stays peaceful for a moment nor does it let anyone around it to have peace...because it always makes irky useless noise adding to the entropy of the world....
Upon a careful observation, many folks' stupidity resembles this rat nature....
They eat without knowing why / what / how much / where / is the food being consumed...
They interfere with the lives of all others around without any purpose and create many useless irky issues for everyone around....
They always blabber, shout, argue, and waste their precious naada Shakti and memory power....
and so on and so forth...
This kind of worldly stupidity is symbolised by a rodent...
An almost similar scenario can be observed in the case of an untamed elephant......
However, an elephant can be tamed by a mahout, so much so that it qualifies to take part in the lord's procession in the name of GajaVaahanaSeva...
[ Tirumala/Tiruchanur Brahmotsava GajaVaahana seva is one of the most prominent vaahanasevas known for its magnanimity in bestowing the devotees witnessing the same with materialistic riches...]
where as the same isn't feasible in the case of a mouse..
i.e.,
taming a mouse.....
MushikaVaahanaSeva,...etc aren't present in the world...
So, the analogy of a tamed elephant having a mouse as its mount is to convey the below messages....
The moment, a decent paper weight is placed on a newspaper on the table, irrespective of the fan speed, the paper neither flutters nor gets helter skelter...It just remains firmly organized and stable....
Similarly, when the elephant faced God Ganesha having a rodent as his mount is worshipped, our consciousness slowly but surely will be tamed so much so that irrespective of all sorts of mundane worldly nonsense, noise, entropy, it will remain firm and fixed on the inner resolution with an immaculate clarity on the goals and immeasurable will power to achieve the same.....
Similar to how a tamed elephant's executions are always balanced as per the guidance of its mahout, the worshipper of the elephant faced God Ganesha having a rodent as his mount, overcomes all sorts of wavering nature and his/her consciousness becomes a highly cohesive force that will achieve every given goal set by its carefully calculated approach in every given situation which will eventually lead them towards successful and thus a fulfilled life...
