The birthday of a great personality being celebrated as Teachers day across the nation to commemorate the spirit of his exemplary service to our nation is certainly a great day for all of us to thank each and every entity of this universe that has taught us something that we didn't knew prior to learning the same..
While it's true that any and every entity in this universe can don the role of a teacher to impart us the knowledge base contained by it on a given subject..,
A human being, being an embodiment of unquantifiable intellect binding the entire universal knowledge in each and every brain cell of those crores and crores of neurons which are one of the God's amazingly unfathomable creations in this universe.., is the most supreme forms of a teacher for that he/she can transform a mere mediocre human being to a mighty universal spirit to serve as a personification of perfection in every given path tread by the Guru Shishya parampara....
In other words, a teacher or a Guru is like a high voltage transformer that has stepped down it's voltage to become a step-down transformer inorder to become available for the Sishya / disciple in the requisite form so as to impart him/her all that is needed for their well being...
Hence by getting connected to their Teacher / Guru in various ways, a disciple can reach that supreme state where in he/she can even get connected to that gigantic Hydral Power Plant from where the transmission line originates from and steps down it's extremely high magnitude voltages to consumable lower magnitudes at various levels as appropriate via an established transmission process...
In our regular electricity transmission system, it may not be feasible for us to do that RE mechanism to draw in such high magnitude voltages to our homes..
( which is neither required nor can be beared by the generic household electric/electronic devices that are devised for optimal currents' usage only ) however in the Guru Shishya Parampara, it is indeed a speciality that disciples, with due respect and devotion towards the entire lineage of Gurus, can submit themselves to become as much wiser as the greatest and magnanimous of all the Gurus belonging to that Guruparampara by drawing those high magnitude spiritual currents held by the GuruParampara....
For those of you who have had a chance to listen to the pravachanams of "Shree Kanchi KaamakoTi Paramaachaarya Vaibhawam " by sathguru ShreeChaaganTi gaaru,
it is indeed a point to be noted that
as a school child, when
Shree Paramaachaarya got appointed as the chief pontiff of Kanchi KaamakoTi Jagadguru Peetham amidst certain unfortunate circumstances, he had no support from any of the Gurus or teachers to guide him on embracing the required tenets of the JagadguruPeetha Sampradaayaam...
He was left all alone to himself to handle the entire Kanchi KaamakoTi peeTham in such a young age...
His steadfast devotion + unfettered will power + undettered belief in Shree AadiShankaraachaarya's Guruparampara has enabled him to draw-in all that mighty knowledge and wisdom that has made him one of the most revered global personalities ever found....
The poorvaachaarya brundaavanams in the MaTam were his only source unto which he has offered his sincere prayers and got their blessings there by becoming the most powerful Jagadgurus of the KanchiKaamaKoti peeTham so much so that he is respected as another ShreeAadiShankaraachaarya himself....
Such is the power of the concept of GuruShishya parampara and it's majestic
methodology that elevates any given person submitting themselves to the grace of the Guruparampara...
The below verses,
SadaaShivaSamaarambhaam
VyaasaShankaraMadhyamaam
AsmadaachaaryaParyantaam
VandayGuruparamparaam...
/
LakhsminaathaSamaarambhaam
NaathayaamunaMadhyamaam
AsmadaachaaryaParyantaam
VandayGuruparamparaam...
are an integral part of the worship done by every sanaatanaDharmaavalambaka to pay respect to their Guruparampara and get their blessings to continue with the subsequent given form of pooja/ritual etc...
It is to be noted that a Guru imparts the same knowledge base to all of his/her disciples equally with an intent of everyone's well being...
However, the onus is on a Shishya who needs to transform himself/herself in to a magnifying glass so as to converge all the knowledge and wisdom being radiated by a Guru in to them to become whatever they aspire to be....
So, a Teacher / Guru would always be like an effulgent Sun who stands high in the skies and radiates all of their light and heat equally....
And the Shishya would always be like a nomadic element that traverses the path of obtaining the highest magnitudes of the radiated energy by being close to the equator region so that they achieve the very purpose of being a disciple....
This very concept has been the core driving force of the mighty Indian Spiritual Arena, that is known for it's magnanimity since times before times for that a GuruShishya parampara follows the BhramaraKeeTakaNyaayam to transform even a mere insect in to another mighty bee to extract the Makarandam from the flowers all around ( raw / non-edible honey) and process it in to 'Taynay'..( consumable honey )
i.e.,
to define it in a higher state,
to extract the raw knowledge from the nature ( Vidya from Prakruthi ) and to transform it in to unperishable wisdom ( paraaVidya of Paramaatma ), in order to make the life a full-fledged one to call it a full-filled one...!
On this auspicious occasion of Teachers day celebrations across the nation, I sincerely thank...
