ChitraChechi by the cine industry) 60th birthday celebration is certainly a great festive occasion for the entire music fraternity spread across the globe and especially for the south of India, it is indeed a great festivel for one and all....
"A legendary singer with an evergreen charisma of a great impact on many a listener / audience that has been creating an unparalleled reputed history with her each and every rendition since the past 35 years, so much so that even a novice would get enthralled beyond any explanation by merely listening to her music to forget all the heaviness in the mind....."
would be an apt definition of our Chitra Chechi....
A fool / idiot would resort to all sorts of carcinogenic stuff to relieve their mind's heaviness and there by destroys oneself and all the others surrounding them....
( As long as someone's smoking & drinking, doesn't bother the folks around, they may call it their constitutional right to buy and consume anything from the market...
However, as everyone knows, they are just 'purchasing' cancer and all sorts of other physical ailments besides mental ailments as their side effects, only to lessen their life span by a few decades and are certainly bothering others when done in public, which is anyways an act of offense as per the applicable govt GOs)
A mediocre person engages in gossip with the folks around only to get burdened with more and more irrelevant stuff...
An elite person would read/write good books or listen to some good soothing music, for all the mind power they impart the reader / listener with....
( various scientific studies have proved that the amplitudes of a human brain's
beta waves are much stronger in those who read/write books, listen to/practice great soothing music renditions than that of in those who don't...)
For such a great unparalleled science of music / musicology, singers all around the world are the life source who create / propagate / sustain the power of music via their renditions in their chosen albums/movies...
While the supreme segment of musicology, the traditional Carnatik/Hindustani, is approached only by the intellectual group, the generic cine/movie/album music has been the most common form of music embraced by one and all for all casual purposes and thus it has been a widely talked about profession / field / across the globe to which many an established personnel have made their foray in to and have won many accolades by one and all who relish the power of music....
Singers / Musicians are professionals akin to any other field...However, it takes the merit of several lives to be born as or to become an established singer or a musician for the intricate penance involved in it to captivate millions and millions of folks...because music is a global language that is devoid of all sorts of barriers and is an exquisite art that is mastered only by a few blessed souls...
and is thus embraced by one and all for all that it gives them to remain happy and blissful....
Chitra chechi is one such revered, established, erudite music professionals / singers of India, who took up music as a profession and spread the greatness of singing / music to every nook and corner of the world by enthralling the audience in multiple languages / multiple countries / multiple genres across hundreds and hundreds of her great renditions.....
The fact that, it is none other than Shree S.Jaanakamma, the most versatile singer ever known to the world, that has praised Chitra Chechi and has asked the music world to go and explore her music finesse, marks the heights of Chitra Chaychi's elite status in her singing spree....
Right from the evergreen songs in the "Bombay" to many a latest one,
I have always found her renditions as a great stressbuster.....
And personally, my most favourite bits from a few movie songs of her are.....
"Nenu purivippi parugetti gaalalle vacchaa...nee venu gaanaaniki....arere...arere...neaDu kanneeTa taynaykalisay...."
in the "Urikay Chiluka..." song....
Taara sthaayi rendition at
" Telupumaaa..aaaaa......." in the
"Chiluka Ksheamama..." song...
"KuhuKuhu swaraagaalay Shrutulugaa......" rendition in the
"Jaamuraatiri....Jaabilamma... " song....
"NivaaLigaa naa madi...nivedinchu nimishamidi...."
to the completion of the song via a mellifluous jantaswaraalaapana that culminates at "ee geetaanjali"....
in the "A Shwaasaloa chearitay...
gaaligaandharvamautunnadoa...." song....
"Urikinavaagallay..tolakarikavitallay...
talapulu kadilaynay....chelimadi virisaynay...ravikularaghuraamaa...
anudinamu "
in the "ninnu koray varnam....." song....
and so on and so forth.....
My humble Namaskaaram to, PadmaBhooshan, Shree K S Chithra gaaru,
and wishing her many more years of successful singing spree with many more birthday celebrations ahead....
