For the question, 'What is a star ?",
based on the knowledge strata of the person, the answer keeps varying from person to person...
A few might say, "it is a self luminous object in the sky that shines bright in the night and there are many such stars in the sky..."
Another few might say, "The innumerable stars pervading all over the skies are those self luminous astral bodies in the space, with a specific mass, energy, radiating power quotient, that cause specific effects on all the objects in their proximity and based on the star in question and the objects in it's vicinity, the space realm gets redefined continuously and thus the universe is essentially a revolving multiverse with no limits of whatsoever...
If the question is about a star named Sun, in whose proximity, there are 7 considerable planets named Mercury, Venus, Earth and its natural Satellite Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, that together constitute our solar system because of whose correlated revolution around the Sun in their respective fixed orbital planes, certain effects are observed on the planet earth and it's corresponding time plane."
Hence, based on the intellectual strata of the person being asked, the understanding of the perspective of a star and thus it's definitions keep varying...
Quite similarly, for a question named
"Who is Krushna...?"
based on the intellectual strata of the person being asked, the answer keeps varying from person to person...
A few might say,
"He is the creator and the ruler of the kingdom of Dwaraka, currently submerged in the waters of the Arabian Ocean nearby the Gujarat area since 5125 years, who is considered and worshipped by many devotees all over the world as one of the Dashaavataarams of lord Shree MahaaVishnu belonging to the DwaaparaYugam."
And another few wise intellectuals shall describe Lord Krushna and his Krushna tattwam as below..
Born as the 8th son of Vasudeva and Devaki in the city of Mathura on Shraavana Bahula Ashtami and raised by Nanda and Yashoda in the rural hamlets of NandaVraj, Lord Krushna is regarded as the Paripoorna avataaram amongst the Dashaavataarams of Lord Shree MahaaVishnu and is the most celebrated diety all over the world for all that he was and for all that he continues to be in his own mystic ways....
For the innocent GopaGopi brundam of the NandaVraj, he is a fellow innocent Gopabaalak playing his indescribably mesmerizing flute besides being a cowherd.
and
For the wisest of the wise scholars and intellectuals
that were ever found by this world, he is an eternal Jagadguru for everyone and is regarded as the Geetaacharya...
and to all those in-between these 2 extremes, lord Krushna is essentially a reflection of their understanding of the universal spiritual persona named Krushna, the paripoorna paramaatma...
Now let's understand the Krushna tattwam as blessed by him while we celebrate the Krushna consciousness on the occasion of the Janmashtami festivel.....
For that, we need to rely on his below saying from the "Gnyaana Karma Sanyaasa Yogam",
Adhyaayam / Chapter 4, Verse 11.
ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् ।
मम वर्त्मानुवर्तन्ते मनुष्याः पार्थ सर्वशः ॥11॥
For a rich devotee who spends a lot of money to decorate his Pooja mandir with tons of flowers, fruits, flutes and so on and so forth and worships lord Krushna wholeheartedly and for a typical middle class devotee who spends about some 28 rupees to bring some fragrant flowers and other typical pooja stuff and worships lord Krushna wholeheartedly, Krushna answers both of them just alike.
Because, while being immersed in Krushna consciousness, an ardent devotee shall feel as if he is just having a casual regular chit-chat with his fellow college dude whose wisdom quotient is that of a 111 year old wise elderly person.
When an innocent flower shop person showered his affection for Lord Krushna by decorating him with a nice fragrant garland, he was blessed by Lord Krushna so much so that the blessed riches have become infinity to him.
When asked by Lord Krushna casually, an arrogant dhobi, who was on his way to King Kamsa's courtyard, refused to give a shiny silk shawl and instead started insulting lord Krushna with harsh words to which he was smashed down by Lord BalaRaama, Krushna's elder brother, then and there itself.
Sudaama / Kuchela, his childhood friend, when offered him a fistful of flattened rice wholeheartedly by travelling all the way to Krushna's courtyard,
lord Krushna blessed him profusely so much so that the legend of Kuchelopaakhyaanam continues to be one of the most eternally celebrated ShreemadBhaagawata ghattams upon listening to which with due devotion and respect, devotees have found the blessings of ShreeKrushnaanugraham in their respective lives too.
[ I am fortunate enough to have listened to the mighty "Kuchelopaakhyaanam" implicit to the 'Sampoorna ShreemadBhaagawata pravachanaalu' blessed by sathguru Shree Chaaganti gaaru long long ago.... ]
Arjuna, one of the mightiest warriors, holding an invincible bow named, 'Gaandeevam', whose shot arrows' slew took down several units of KauravaSena in the Kurukshetra mahaa sangraamam, was flabbergasted to know that he could not even hold and lift his very own Gaandeevam properly when he was fighting with the enemies while relocating the palace queens in his chariot after the incident of ShreeKrushna niryaanam.
Upon a careful and diligent study of all these Shree Krushnaanugraha incidents, the wise and erudite scholars have stated that only by the virtue of being a paripoorna pratyaksha paramaatma, a person can confer such magnanimous blessings upon his devotees in accordance with their devotion.
As per the Brahma Shaasanam, when the time for the Dwaaparayugaantam was approaching in-order to pave the way for the present KaliYugam, a highly materialistic yugam to establish its reign, such paripoorna pratyaksha paramaatma, decided to leave this mortal world after the incident of a tribal archer's arrow hit on his right toe by shrugging off his mortal coil and travelling to the abodes of his his ShreeVaikuntham by donning the ShreeVaishnava tejodeaham, was approached and requested by the higher order sages on the earth as below,
"Oh Krushna Paramaatma....
You have blessed all your devotees so much so that the world will remember and praise all your Krushnaavataaram's glory eternally. Then what about us, the Saptarshis, for that we don't have any materialistic desires and are here only to do penance to establish universal peace for one and all. How can we continue our world peace endeavours if paramaatma paadam is no more on this mortal planet..? to which a kind Krushna paramaatma answered as below....
"Oh my dear maharshis...I understand your genuine concern. As I have always been, I shall continue to be very dear to you even in this KaliYugam. However, my direct presence shall be only on the holy hills of Tiruvengadam.and all my devotees shall continue to receive my choicest blessings in the form of Govindaanugraham. All the maharshis can continue their penance for the universal well-being by taking various forms of trees and valleys atop the mighty Tiruvengadam that shall be the abode of my holy feet in the form of Veerasthaanakadhruvamoorthi with varada and kati hastam propounding the Sharanaagati and Samsaarasaagarataranam available to all the devotees of lord Govinda all over the world.
That said, he has transfused all his Yoga Shakti attained by the paripoorna paramaatma avataaram,
into the ShreeVenkataachala paratattwa moorthi and thus we now sing every day as below in the mellifluous Shree Venkateshwara suprabhatam.
For those who know, Lord Shree Venkateshwara continued his affinity for curd and butter for a long time that were sold in the premises of the current "Gollamandapam" area in front of the Tirumala aalaya mahaadwaaram. Several Gollapaduchulu used to offer curd and butter to Lord Shree Venkateshwara directly in this Gollamandapam area. Ask the ardent devotees of lord Shree Venkateshwara and they shall tell you all the glorious legends associated with the Gollamandapam which is currently being utilized to host the temple safeguarding vigilance teams.
and thus Shree Taallapaaka Annamaachaarya, in one of his majestic Govinda naama Sankeertanams, quite vehemently states,
"valasina vaariki varandunDeetaDu....." as below....
