Sanaatana Bhaarata Desham continues to be one of the most celebrated spiritual centers of the world and its meaningful festivals serve as a spiritual beacon for a fulfilled life...
While there are a plethora of Indian festivals, of which a few are celebrated by several wise foreigners too, Vinaayaka Chaviti is one of the most prominent festivals decorating the Indian spiritual diaspora in a significantly jubilant way....
Right from a small kiddoo who smiles at Lord Ganapathi by looking at the Laddu in his hand to a wise veteran who smiles at the sumukhaha for all the ShreeLakshmi anugraham the devotees are imparted with by a mere look at the God with an elephant head, every devotee is blessed profusely by lord Ganapathi for being in his presence....
As known to the ardent listeners of sathguru Shree Chaaganti gaari magnanimous discourses, along with Paraashakti and Parameshwara, lord Ganesha too is decorated with Chandrarekha that signifies the paripoorna paratattwam in the adwaita sampradaayam...
In other words, those deities that are decorated with Chandrarekha are considered as the embodiment of the universal spiritual power that can take any name and form to bless a devotee in accordance with their sincere worship.
For example, when I visit Lord Shree Lakshmi Venkateshwara's temple, my lord Ganapathi that I worship everyday as the very first deity to be prayed for, will transform himself into Lord Shree Venkateshwara and will bless me accordingly.
When I visit Lord Paarvati Parameshwara temple, my lord Ganapathi will transform himself into Lord Parameshwara and will bless me accordingly.
When I visit Lord Valli Devasena Subrahmanya swamy temple, my lord Ganapathi will transform himself into Lord Subrahmanya and will bless me accordingly.
I hope the above mentioned examples explain what it means to wear a Chandrarekha and be extolled as paripoorna paratattwam.
The importance of Ganapathi worship, as extolled by revered maharshis and spiritual stalwarts, is associated with great merit via simple efforts and is thus regarded as one of the finest and magnificent forms of worship to be followed by all the devotees especially in this Bhaadrapada maasam.
1. Doorvayugma pooja
(Worship of Ganapathi with the species of grass that grow via horizontal spanning. Such doorva grass is extolled by the Shaastram as
"Sahasraaparamaadevi Shatamoolaa Shataankura
Sarvagumharatumaypaapam doorvaa dusswapnanaashineem".
Goddess Seeta Devi placed such grass in-between her and Ravana during his stupid arguments in the Ashokavanam which has a number of spiritual interpretations of which one is, such paapishti moron crooks' paapam / harmful spiritual radiation will not affect a puNyaatma person on the other side when a doorva is placed in between. One can also observe this practice of placing doorva on all the edible and other stocked up food items during eclipse times in-order to avoid contamination due to harmful radiation emitted by the eclipse phenomenon which gets nullified by placing a doorva grass on them.)
2. Gunjeellu
(sit down and get up multiple times by holding one's right ear with the left thumb + index fingers and left ear with right thumb + index fingers. This super yoga exercise is known to boost memory power significantly and thus has become an implicit part of the Indian culture since ancient times)
3. Mottikaayalu
(Slightly patting one's front head with both the fists)
4. Reciting Ganesha Shodasha naamavali and other simple stotrams.
5. Offering Undraallu / modakaalu / laddus as nivedana and consuming them as prasaadam.
and so on and so forth.....look at the simplicity associated with lord Ganapathi's worship and the significant science associated with the same.
Have you ever observed the beautiful Sun during the dawn and dusk.
Have you ever observed a shiny full moon and its twilight.
Have you ever observed the intricate and amusing patterns of glittering stars in the clear skies.
Have you ever observed a serene stream / river flow.
Have you ever observed a butterfly resting on a flower...
and so on and so forth...
All these natural miracles are free to watch and they
auto capture our consciousness towards them...
Ganapathi too is one such spiritual beauty, towards which, right from small kids to old elders, everyone's consciousness gets auto captured and thus all are in turn blessed profusely by the Sumukhaha....
The magnitude of the puNyam / merit quotient associated with a few entities is so strong so much so that even a mere look at them will impart great blessings.
By the virtue of being Paarvati Parameshwara varaprasaadi who has become the PramadhaGanaadhipati, the elephant faced Lord Vinaayaka's puNyam / merit quotient's magnitude is almost that of infinity and thus even a mere look at Ganapathi will bless a devotee greatly and thus he is rightly extolled as Sumukhaha as his very first name in the well known meritorious Ganesha Shodasha naamavali given below....

While the rest of the 15 names are pretty much self explanatory and are also associated with a specific tattwam, the assimilation of such tattwaardham shall be a blessing of Ganapathi in-order to qualify for his esteemed blessings....
With my humble pranaams to lord Ganesha residing in our BVRIT college campus temple, Narsapur, Medak dist.,
May Lord Vinaayaka's blessings shower Peace of mind, Health, Happiness and Prosperity to all the devotees who pray / worship him sincerely.....🙂💐
On this pious occasion of the Vinaayaka Chaviti festivel, it is considered highly meritorious to pray to lord Ganapathi with the below Shreemadbhaagawata padyam as well, for that natural poet Shree Potanaamaatya is an exemplary spiritual stalwart who has distilled the essence of powerful syllables by embedding them amidst simple poetic phrases so that even a common man with mediocre spiritual knowledge gets blessed aptly....
