Shree Purushottama Maasam, another name for Adhikamaasam, being one of the ask in the HiraNyakashipa's list when he makes a wish at Brahmadeva in his futile quest to become immortal, is something that I believe not many of us know of......

"Neither with a human being that exists on the planet earth nor with any animal...

Neither on the earth nor in the sky....

Neither in the day nor in the night....

Neither inside my house nor outside....

Neither a weapon with life nor with a lifeless one......."

 

these are the above 5 common points in his list that we are aware of in general....

As it goes, Lord BrahmaDeva always makes his move as per the celestial / cosmic invisible sigh of Lord Shreemannaaraayana, the sthitikartha / protector of good and noble personnel..... So very well he did an internal calculation to arrive at the probability of HiranyaKashipa getting killed by the protector of all the worlds, and said "Asthu".....

And thus after all his 'poorvakrutha puNyam' got exhausted by enjoying a highly rich materialistic life and a huge amount of 'paapam' got accumulated by physically and mentally torturing his very own son Prahlaada, HiranysNakashipa's cosmic account got balanced enough to meet his end in the hands of the almighty.....

**With his extremely sharp 10 Nails that are neither alive not lifeless... ** ,

HiraNyakashipa was successfully torn apart by Lord UgraNaarasimha to establish Peace for all the worlds that were tortured by him with his arrogance and unmindfulness.....

Be it Raavana, Kamsa, Shishupaala, Dantavaktra, Jaraasandha, and so on and so forth....

the moment one's cosmic equation of PaapaPuNyam gets tallied appropriately it gives the almighty the reigns of their lives so that he can either grant them Moksham as per their wish or can subsume their soul in to him irrespective of their consent...
