So, let's talk about the magnanimity of Shree AadiSankaraachaarya along with the relevance and importance of his preachings to be imbibed by this 21st century's ultra modern generation as well, that is blindly sailing thru the materialism, devoid of that much required spiritual tinge in this global world, at a pace that is much faster than that of one of the revered disciples of Shree AadiSankaraachaarya, known by the monastery name of Shree Padmapaadaachaarya, ever since the legend of river goddess Ganges blossomed a divine lotus for his every foot on it's steady and super fast flow, in his hurry to reach the Guruji located on the other side of the river Ganges where their combined studies were progressing under the tutelage of their guru Shree Aadi Shankaraacharya.....

This ultra modern generation living in a global world will certainly consider it Greek and Latin upon hearing the words like...

Brahmasootra Bhaashyaalu, Upanishad tarkam, 

Vedaanta meemamasa, and so on...

So, let me confine the write-up to a simple yet a decently explanatory one so that it's essence gets assimilated by one and all with due respect to the ShanmathaSthaapanaachaarya, Shree AadiSankaraachaarya....

"BhajaGovindam BhajaGovindam Govindan bhaja moodhamatay....." and so on continues one of the most famous and simplest Sanskrit stotrams (Mohamudhgaram) blessed by Shree AadiSankaraachaarya....

The reason I took this simple Sanskrit stotram to explain the magnanimity of it's creator, Shree AadiSankaraachaarya and the blessings derived by its listeners and followers, is that it is essentially a fine-grained gist of every philosophical ocean propounded by even the greatest of the great philosophers in the world....

Every stanza in it reciprocates the answer for some or the other search by an illumined mind and thus it serves as an all-in-one for one and all to continue their respective saadhanaas.....

The 20th stanza is a beacon for a common person who isn't yet aware of anything related to spirituality, that guides him on the right path to tread in-order to progress further without getting lost in the pseudo spiritual outage.

భగవద్గీతా కించిదధీత

గంగా జలలవ కణికాపీతా |

సకృదపి యేన మురారి సమర్చా 

క్రియతే తస్య యమేవ న చర్చ ||20||

భావం: ఎవరైతే భగవద్గీతని కొంచమైనా అధ్యయనం చేస్తారో, గంగా జలాన్ని కొద్దిగా అయినా తాగుతారో, కొంతసేపైనా శ్రీహరిని పూజిస్తారో అట్టివారికి యమునితో వివాదం ఉండదు. 

and the 27th stanza is a beacon for spiritually 

progressing altruists in-order to help them stay firm on the right and true spiritual track....

గేయం గీతా నామ సహస్రం 

ధ్యేయం శ్రీపతి రూపమజస్రం |

నేయం సజ్జన సంగే చిత్తం 

దేయం దీనజనాయ చ విత్తం ||27||

భావం: భగవద్గీత, విష్ణు సహస్రనామాలను గానం చెయ్యాలి. ఎల్లప్పుడూ శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువు యొక్క రూపాన్ని ధ్యానించాలి. సజ్జన సాంగత్యంలో మనసుని నడపాలి. దీనులైన వారికి ధనాన్ని దానం చెయ్యాలి. 

The "deena janam" in the last verse DOESN'T refer to the poor people, who beg / roam on the roads to collect / demand money from all those traveling by roads and in trains only to make the toddy and other allied shops rich during the nights to create law and order issues in the society with their irresponsible lives.

It refers to those financially downtrodden sections of the society who are unfortunately unable to progress further in their respective lives in-order to become a dignified and a responsible citizen to serve the society in their respective paths.

For example, a poor diligent temple priest, a poor diligent merit student, a poor diligent farmer, and so on and so forth....

And the following 30th stanza mentions the most important and the basic tenets to be followed and maintained in-order to be successful in the path of spirituality so that the true enlightenment for oneself dawns from within as a result of ones focussed saadhana and not by merely listening to the sophisticated statements from every erudite philosopher...

ప్రాణాయామం ప్రత్యాహారం 

నిత్యానిత్య వివేకవిచారం |

జాప్యసమేత సమాధివిధానం 

కుర్వవధానం మహదవధానం ||30||

భావం: క్రమపద్ధతిలో శ్వాసను నియమించడం; విషయాల నుండి మనసుని వెనక్కి మళ్లించడం; నిత్య వస్తువేదో, అనిత్య వస్తువేదో నిరంతరం బుద్ధితో విచారించడం; జపంతో కూడుకున్న ధ్యాననిష్ఠ అనే సాధనలను ఎంతో జాగ్రత్తగా అనుష్ఠించు.

Now that Shree AadiSankaraachaarya has blessed us with this meritorious BhajaGovinda / Mohamudhgaram stotram very casually when he happened to witness some person, while on his way on the roadside, practicing some grammatical skills as a means to enrich himself...

we can understand how authoritative, complex, and complete are his umpteen invaluable literature treasures blessed to the mankind right from the most awe-inspiring Kanakadhaaraastotram rendered very causally in his 8th year to the mighty NirvaanaShatkam and the gist of the entire universal spiritual wisdom in the name of an extremely powerful stotram known as

ShreeMedhaaDakshinaamoorthiStotram...!

For those who remember the golden words of sathguru Shree Chaaganti gaaru, "Saraswati anugraham nundi itara a anugrahamainaa saray...

meeku DakshinamoortiStotram ivvaleni anugrahamantooledu....."

It is a customary practice to recite "Thotakaashtakam" during "ShreeAadiShankaraJayanti celebrations, as a mark of eternal due respect towards the ShanmathaSthaapanaachaarya....🙏🇮🇳💐

O Thou, the knower of all the milk-Ocean of Scriptures! The expounder of the topics of the great Upanisadic treasure-trove! On Thy faultless feet I meditate in my heart,

Be Thou my refuge O Master, Sankara! 1

O the Ocean of compassion! Save me whose heart is tormented by the misery of the sea of birth! Make me understand the truths of all the schools of philosophy!

Be Thou my refuge, O Master, Sankara. 2

By thee the masses have been made happy, O Thou who hast a noble intellect, skilled in the inquiry into self-knowledge! Enable me to understand the wisdom relating to God and the soul.

Be Thou my refuge, O master, Sankara. 3

Knowing that Thou art verily the Supreme Lord, there arises overwhelming bliss in my heart. Protect me from the vast ocean of delusion.

Be Thou my refuge, O Master, Sankara. 4

Desire for the insight into unity through Thee will spring only when virtuous deeds are performed in abundance and in various directions. Protect this extremely helpless person.

Be Thou my refuge, O Master, Sankara. 5

O Teacher! For saving the world the great assume various forms and wander in disguise. Of them, Thou shinest like the Sun.

Be Thou my refuge, O Master, Sankara. 6

O the best of Teachers! The Supreme Lord having the bull as banner! None of the wise is equal to Thee! Thou who art compassionate to those who have taken refuge! The Treasure-trove of truth!

Not even a single branch of knowledge has been understood by me correctly. Not even the least wealth do I possess, O Teacher. Bestow on me quickly Thy natural grace.
