My smile is back after a decade and a half...:)

I had a mishap during my 8th class that broke one of my front tooth in to an awful tainted half. A couple of dentist visits suggested RC and I just refrained from the same being afraid of that acute pain factor and left it as is hiding my open smile from the world for all obvious reasons.
( Added to that life too gave many unfortunate reasons to forget my heart full smile in the past decade and a half, so probably smiles and laughs deserved no place in my life... )
Thanks to my wife for that her cousin, a dentist, who examined my teeth casually during a visit to their home, suggested immediate dental scan to assess the intensity of the internal tooth injury and gum infections that she suspected to be a serious issue.
Upon visiting a highly qualified dentist duo during May-2018, the ordeal of 'regular normal pain' since last 18 years turned out to be a manifested grave internal injury that has infected the surrounding areas as well, as a result of which my upper jaw's front alveolar bone just got washed way and there was no option left other than to undergo a painful open flap surgery to completely remove that broken tooth and the associated cysts / gum infections. Surgical process included bone grafting and an RC for the infected adjacent canine as well with painful sutures and bleeding and all that hell, though local anaesthesia was my saviour all along the process ...😭
After multiple dentist visits and subsequent dental implant recently post the healing process, finally after an year since the tooth surgery, I got my artificial teeth fixed today....😊
Thus my open smile is now back and hope it brings in lot many reasons for my life as well to smile open heartedly from now on....😁
Hence, the lesson learnt is that never ignore your tooth issues no matter whether they look small or big to ensure they don't result in traumatic unwanted cascading effects like I have had....
Thanks to Govinda, saying cheese is a pleasure now....😬
