Wishing one and all a very happy 2025 Makara Sankranthi festival....😊💐

While Sankranthi is a festival of new harvest, ariselu, chekilaalu/sakinaalu, gaarelu, pongal and other sweets/snacks, kite flying, and colourful rangolis celebrated by the generic world with multiple names across various parts of India as described in the attached picture...,
It is one of the most prominent festivals of Sanaatana Haindava Dharmam that earmarks the onset of UttaraayanaPunyakaalam with Sun's transit from Dhanu to Makara Raasi named as
MakaraSankramanam that signifies the beginning of the mighty Maagha Panchakam, the most celebrated season for an array of Muhoortams that are apt for almost all kinds of functions / events.

The revolution of Earth around the Sun reaches the last point in its elliptical traversal path in the space and starts moving towards the Sun.
Hence, the natural cosmic effects of Sun and its various energies shall be more visible / tangible / cognizable during this Maagha Panchakam and is thus termed as the most celebrated season.

To correlate the same, let's have a simple example..

The more fuel one has in their bike or car, the more long planned journeys one can have without worrying about the unavailability of fuel.

The less fuel one has in their bike or car (say the vehicle is running on reserve), the less one has to travel with an extremely calculated commute path / travel times.

Quite similarly, the closer planet Earth is towards the Sun's sphere, the more vivid are various kinds of physical and cosmic energies' availability and thus their blessings to the living beings on the earth.

A bottle of frozen ghee when kept under the Sun melts down within a few minutes during the period of March thru May, while it takes many minutes during other months because of the magnitude of the Sunlight and thus Sun's heat available to the planet Earth. This is one of the physical traits of the Sun and its thermo energy very well known to many educated folks.

Quite similarly any appropriate Muhurtam during the period of Maagha Panchakam i.e., in the months of February thru May, is known to bring in greater cosmic good by the virtue of the Panchaanga balam available during the Maagha Panchaka samayam. This is one of the meta-physical traits of the Sun and its cosmic energy very well known to many spiritually educated Indian intellectuals.

RathaSaptami, MahaaShivaraatri, Yugaadi, Shree RaamaNavami, Akshaya trutiya, are a few amongst the most celebrated Indian festivals that occur during this pious MaaghaPanchaka samayam.

May the blessings of Sankranthi Poushya Lakshmi fill the lives of all the sensible folks with loads of harvests of good health, happiness, prosperity, and peaceful living with mutual respect towards each other. Wishing one and all a very happy 2025 Makara Sankranti festival... 😊💐✨🎉☀️
