"శ్రీ గణపతి అథర్వషీర్షం (గణపత్యథర్వషీర్షోపనిషత్)"
quite vehemently states
సర్వం జగదిదం త్వ॑త్తో జా॒యతే ।
సర్వం జగదిదం త్వ॑త్తస్తి॒ష్ఠతి ।
సర్వం జగదిదం త్వయి లయ॑మేష్య॒తి ।
సర్వం జగదిదం త్వయి॑ ప్రత్యే॒తి ।
త్వం భూమిరాపోఽనలోఽని॑లో న॒భః ।
త్వం చత్వారి వా᳚క్పదా॒ని ॥ 5 ॥
which briefly implies...
Creation: "Sarva Jagadidam Tvatto Jayate" - All this universe comes into existence from You.
Sustenance: "Sarva Jagadidam Tvattastishthati" - All this universe sustains in You.
Dissolution: "Sarva Jagadidam Tvayi Layameshyati" - All this universe will dissolve into You.
Merger/Return: "Sarva Jagadidam Tvayi Pratyeti" - All this universe ultimately merges back into You.
You are essentially the 5 primordial elements
(panchabhootaalu) named as...
Bhoomi (Earth)
Aapah (Water)
Analo (Fire)
Anilo (Air)
Nabha (Sky)
You are indeed the 4 forms of spiritual communication namely....
Para, Pratyakchith, Madhyama, Vaikhari
that are extolled by the Vaagdevatalu in the highly meritorious Shree Lalita SahasraNaamaavaLi as
పరా, ప్రత్యక్చితీ రూపా, పశ్యంతీ, పరదేవతా ।
మధ్యమా, వైఖరీరూపా, భక్తమానస హంసికా ॥ 81 ॥
Now lets understand the philosophical importance of Ganapathi's worship and the associated intricacies as blessed by lord Shree Ganesha.......
The above combined explanation of the 5th verse of Shree Ganapathi Atharwa Sheershopanishad gives us a bird's eye view of the below spiritual intricacy....
All the tangible and intangible nature pervading around us inclusive of its creation, sustenance, dissolution, merger and the four forms of the universal spiritual communication diaspora that mobilizes the above eternal universal phenomenon is referred to as Shree Ganapathi.
For example, at the basic level when a person visualizes Ganapathi as an elephant faced universal God who shall bless him/her with good marks in their exams to secure distinction and other associated merits,
he/she would worship lord Ganapathi with whatever prayers he/she knows and consider that as their worship to be blessed accordingly....
This prayer is exuded in the form of "Vaikhari", the most common form of communication aimed at information exchange via verbal means that is well comprehensible to many common folk in the world....
i.e., the most common form of prayer exuded by you and I and every other fellow prudent person.
and at the highest level when an enlightened soul visualizes Shree Ganapathi as an elephant faced universal God who shall bless the entire universe with the required well-being to sustain the peace and harmony of the world around with the other associated merits,
they would worship lord Ganapathi in the form of "Para" aaraadhaana, which transcends every given boundary of this universe to reach the supreme divine matter pervading the cosmos in its chosen name, form, state and aural / ethereal magnitude....
i.e., the most rare form of prayer exuded by the exalted beings like the Shree AadiShankaraachaarya sthaapita chaturaamnaaya peeThaadhivaasa Jagadgurus and other Maharshis / Brahmarshis whose typical focus is always on the universal well-being of the world around them and whose vision always supercedes the typical generic realm's purview.
If I talk about how to ignite a lamp in our house during a power outage, everyone will understand it very well....
Because almost everyone uses a similar matchbox / matchstick with a phosphorus tip to light an oil lamp in-order illuminate their respective environs...
However, when a higher strata scientist of ISRO, DRDO, NASA, and other elite research organisations talk about how to communicate with a satellite revolving in its destined orbit around the planet Earth for its designated purpose, by initiating it's lock/unlock sequence set to the requisite frequency of the intended communication from the base station on the earth, it may not be everyone's cup of tea to assimilate the concept and the associated intricacies and thus only a few that have made several diligent efforts all thru their life to reach that superior intellectual strata shall typically be the ones to understand the same.
If I may explain this difference in much simpler words,
When a devotee sits in front of a properly established devataa moorthy and prays saying...
"Om Sumukhaaya Namaha..."
"Om Eakadantaaya Namaha..."
"Om Kapilaaya Namaha..."
"Om Gajakarnakaaya Namaha..."
"Om Lambodaraaya Namaha..."
and so on and so forth...
it talks about the "Vaikhari" form of the worship that is typically well known to many prudent fellow devotees....

When a devotee sits anywhere in this world where their consciousness is firmly established on any meditative entity and their inner consciousness starts the visualization of the below verse from the NaaraayanaSooktam,
నా॒రాయ॒ణప॑రో ధ్యా॒తా॒ ధ్యా॒నం నా॑రాయ॒ణః ప॑రః ।
యచ్చ॑ కిం॒చిజ్జ॑గత్స॒ర్వం॒ దృ॒శ్యతే᳚ శ్రూయ॒తేఽపి॑ వా ॥
అంత॑ర్బ॒హిశ్చ॑ తత్స॒ర్వం॒-వ్యాఀ॒ప్య నా॑రాయ॒ణః స్థి॑తః ।
అనంత॒మవ్యయం॑ క॒విగ్ం స॑ము॒ద్రేంఽతం॑-విఀ॒శ్వశం॑భువమ్ ।
it talks about their "Para" form of the worship that is known to the selective similar higher strata
devotees....
Similarly, the understanding of the concept of Shree
Ganapathi and the various associated names and
forms of Ganapati tattwam are based on the modes of worship and communication....
