Though he was a bit fast in conveying many points, I specifically would like to emphasize on one key point from his words.....
"A temple is a great source of knowledge and power ....."

would be an apt definition for a temple that is constructed strictly in accordance with the corresponding "Aagama Saaastram" ......
"Matter" that is comprised of Knowledge ( in the form of transduced wisdom ) and Power ( in the form of transformational energy ) are the only entities that run this entire universe and thus are the most sought after ones by every human being..... Hence was there a great importance and prominence for temples in our ancient times and of course they continue to be so......
However with materialism gaining more and more significance as the world kept 'developing' with the help of globalisation,
spiritualism took a back seat and temple is being considered as a mere recreational center or any other social center for certain group prayer activities.......

A kid playing with a few marbles considers a diamond too just as one among them.....
It is for a gemologist who knows the worth of that stone by the knowledge imparted by his 'mentors', that it is a diamond of huge worth....
Likewise, for a person who can't think beyond the prescribed common world's casual tenets associated with a constructional marvel, it is just a good looking edifice where people gather for some prayers and peace.....
It is for a devotee who knows the greatness of the diety and the associated temple with the help of the knowledge imparted by his revered gurus, it is a temple where the prescribed form of worship is his access card to unlock the immaculate cosmic secrets embedded in his very own human body...! 😊

is not experienced when it is merely stated...... It would be, when the tenets of the Vedanta get distilled in to and for that to take place it is a temple that helps anyone to achieve the same....😊
