ShreeRaamaRaamaRaamaythi
RamayRaamaymanoRamay
Sahasranaamatattulyam
Raamanaamavaraananay
This is the world renowned phrase that many a devotee recites as a part of their regular " ShreeVishnusahasranaamam " and most of the times it is recited as a balancing shlokam for the entire VishnuSahasranaamam recital as the very meaning of same speaks so.....!
Now let's discuss a few interesting topics that have always been of great interest to many a spiritualist / thiest across the world......
First of all let's have some clarification on a few facts before we delve deeper in to all those spiritual intricacies with appropriate real world examples that I always am fond of from my guruji Shree ChaaganTi sadguruji's various discourses.....
1. Shree Vishnusahasranaamam was a mighty discussion between DharmaRaaja the elder of the 5 Paandavaas and Bheeshmaachaarya, the grand father of both Kauravaas and Paandavaas underwhose guidance they grew up and who was crowned as Army Chief /
'Kaurava SarvaSainyaadhyaksha ' in the never before known war called the
"The KuruPaanDava Mahaasangraamam - Mahabhaaratham"
Bheeshmaachaarya was lying on a 'Sharatalapam', a bed of arrows built by Arjuna after he was shot by a slew of arrows by the latter in the battle field.
However Bheesmachaarya has a boon of
'IchaamaraNam', so he was waiting for the uttaraayana puNyakaalam to leave his bleeding mortal remains and merge his soul in to the paramaatma Lord SrimannNaarayana as soon as Sun's solar transit in to MakaraRaashi happens. ( i.e, post the Sankranti festival )
2. Here the name ShreeRaama that is being extolled as the 'taaraka mantram', that which liberates us from all sorts of bondages, belongs to LordShreeRaamavataaram that happened in the earlier yuga of the then Dwaaparayugam where Mahaabhaaratam has occurred.
As one can see quite interestingly Bheeshmaachaarya said that Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati have confirmed that the name ShreeRaama when uttered thrice would yield the result of reciting the entire VishnuSahasraNaamam and would bless the devotee accordingly.....
2. Now to add to this even more interestingly this pious name 'Raama' was kept to the KausalyaDasharath's elder son by their Ikshvaaku dynasty's guruji VashishTa maharshi by explaining that he took the
' Jeevaksharam ' 'Ra' from the AshTaakshari mahaamantram
" OmNamoNaaraayanaaya "
( which is essentially referred to as 'Agnibeejaaksharam' )
and the ' Jeevaaksharam 'Ma' from
the Panchaakshari mahaamantram
" OmNamahShivaaya "
( which is essentially referred to as
'amrutabeejaaksharam' )
and joined them to get the name 'Raama' for the eldest of their 4 children.
3. One might find it even more curious to see that Lord Krishna was standing right beside them in that battle field while DharmaRaaja and Bheeshmaachaarya were discussing this VishnuSahasranaama stotram, and his name wasn't given such status quo of taarakam because it was indeed Lord Krushna who asked Bheeshmaachaarya to preach his holy 1000 names to DharmaRaaja and thus to the world as well from there on......
4. So where does all these chaotic intertwined spiritual incidents take us to derive as to what was their actual intent in propounding 'ShreeRaama' as taarakamantram.....?
And thus here we discuss on how the holiest of all the names "ShreeRaama" went on to become taarakamantram for this world since the earlier days of Traytaayugam that correspond to the ShreeVaalmeeki maharshi's Baalakaada / ShreeRaama jananam which dates back to approximately
Current kaliyugam of 5000 years from ShreeKrishna Niryaanam / Dwaaraka jalasamaadhi
+
( 432000 * 2 = 864000 years of completed Dwaapara Yugam )
+
11000 years of Lord ShreeRaam's regime after he was crowned as the 'KosalaMahaasaamraajyaChakravathi'
when he returned to Ayodhya after the RaavanaVadha.
=
880000 years.
i.e, Approximating to, since 9 lakh years of this Mahaayuga cycle......
Before I proceed to further explain how Lord ShreemannaaraayaNa takes his various avataars to descend down to the planet Earth for protecting this mortal word from a few wicked folks who always want to become mortal for whatsoever foolish agenda they have to torture the people around and get boons from Brahamdeva, the creator, in a kind of an almost immortal but not really......!
Be it the hyper intelligent Hiranyakashipa,
or the hyper arrogant Poulastya / Raavana
or any other fool who always asks for immortality despite being in a mortal world.....
( I am not talking of the exceptions that are always there for any entity in this Universe and so is the case for immortals in this mortal world.
AshwathaamaBalirVyaasoHanumaamchaVibheeShanaha
ParashuRaamaschaKrupaachaaryasaptaitaechirajeevinaha.... and so on......)
To do so, let me take a very simple day to day example in today's software engineering world to demonstrate the same.......
There is a huge physical server of 100 TB storage and 2 TB RAM in my office lab and upon the request from my higher authorities and other key engineering personnel I have used it in a hypervisor mode to create several virtual machines out of the same by allocating a specific RAM, Storage, OS, IPv6 address, Admin Account and all that key parameters required to carve out a completely independent entity called a
'Virtual Machine' that is accessible from any other similar physical machine present inside the given corp network.
Once the VMs are created each of them have been alloted to various teams for specific purpose.
A few high config machines are used as local build servers on whom all the latest and greatest code is built everyday to create the latest version of the software build for the various products we are working on.
and a couple of other high config machines are used to set up global Build Servers which are internally configured with a HTTP server, say Apache Tomcat or MS IIS or IBM / Oracle HTTP and so on, to serve the contents of the same to every single authorized user across the globe.
A few moderate config machines are used to host a few cloud instances of the product being developed by appropriately configuring an Application Server ( like IBM Websphere, Oracle Weblogic, SAP Netweaver, RedHat JBoss and so on .... )
that holds the product as an enterprise archive EAR or a simple web archive WAR or as a petty java archive JAR file on top of the underlying J2EE servlet container and serves the business logic encapsulated in there via a specified context root accessible to any global user via a hostname and port number....
and a few minimal config VMs are given to the engineers for their in-house R&D needs......
Now here are a few questions :
1. Did that huge physical machine lose its identity / individuality after being transformed in to several virtual machines using the hypervisor....?
Ans: No. It still continues to live in the lab as the same huge rack guzzling thru several rpms and is being cooled with those thermal exhausts / sinks around......
2. Does any of the individual VM carved off of it affect it's functionality ?
Ans: No. Each VM has been given complete freedom to operate on their own and they cannot interfere with the hypervisor's functioning no matter how they are utilized by its designated user. They are the derived units of that hypervisor and hence are mutually exclusive when it comes to the upward operational stack.
( Ex : Shutting down a VM doesn't shut down it's parent hypervisor. )
3. Now that the hypervisor is now all divided in to various individual independent VMs, does that mean it doesn't have any ' it's own ' individual identity / accessibility ?
Ans : No. It remains intact and is still as good as it used to be before being divided in to various VMs. All those VMs are indeed accessible / modifiable / configurable / dissolvable entities of this hypervisor and these VMs are always just a click away on the hypervisor's UI from being shutdown and dissolving in to the core server. Hence the downward operational stack is always under the control of the hypervisor itself.....
4. Can a VM take control of the hypervisor to fine-tune / reconfigure it's designated parameters to increase it's configuration and computing capacity....?
Ans : No. It is beyond the global scope of that VM and only vice-versa is possible.
i.e., only the hypervisor holding that VM can reconfigure / resize it as per the requirements.
5. Can the hypervisor at its will dissolve all its VMs to recreate a whole new bunch of VMs irrespective of whether those old VMs would like to still operate the way they have been ever since they were carved off of the same.
Ans: Yes. The complete authority on all those VMs is vested with the hypervisor itself and at any given point in time it can recall all its VMs to refurbish them as per the latest requirements to recreate a new bunch of VMs with whatsoever new configurations / parameters involved in the process of their creation ......

Now that you have read thru the above 5 key / elemental questions lets apply the same to the theology to answer those ever intriguing questions.....
1. Did the huge meta physical entity / paramaatma referred to as
" ShreeMahaaVishnu " lose his identity / individuality after being transformed in to several mortal / immortal forms during the " avataar " creation process....?
Ans: No. He still continues to live in the hole abodes of ShreeVaikuntham in the Ksheerasaagaram, as the same huge super soul guzzling thru several rpms and is being cooled with those thermal exhausts / sinks around provided by AadiShesha, the Holy serpent that serves lord in many ways as we all know......
2. Does any of the individual avataar carved off of him affect his super soul's / super form's functionality ?
Ans: No. Each avataar has been given complete freedom to operate on their own and they cannot interfere with the super form's functioning. They are the derived units of that super soul and hence are mutually exclusive when it comes to the upward spiritual matrix.
( Ex : When Lord ShreeRaama or ShreeKrishna etc eat and sleep in this world that doesn't make Lord Shreemannnaarayana too eat and sleep in his world / cosmic plane )
3. Now that the super soul is now all divided in to various individual avataars, does that mean it doesn't have any ' it's own ' individual identity / accessibility ?
Ans : No. It remains intact and is still as good as it used to be before being descending down in the form of various avataars. All those avataars are indeed accessible / modifiable / configurable / dissolvable entities of this super soul itself and these avataars are always just a call away from the super soul to get dissolved in to the core form.
Hence the downward spiritual matrix is always under the control of the super soul itself.....
( Those who might have listened to sadguru Shree ChaaganTi gaari Shreemadbhaagawatam / Mahaabhaaratam discourses with proper attention and due respect should have reminded themselves about the incident where Lord Krushna took Arjuna on a divine chariot and showed him all the celestial worlds and finally took him to environs of Sheshasyana Lord ShreemannaarayaNa residing in the holy VaikunTham where Arjuna was left flabbergasted to see his brother in-law's immaculate divine traits to believe that paarthasaaradhi is none other than Shreemannaaraayana and the NaraNaaraayana saga was being continued in the forms of Krushnaarjuna in the dwaaparayugam....! )
4. Can an avataar take control of the super soul to fine-tune it's mortal form's existence / presence ....?
Ans : No. It is beyond the global scope of a given avataar and only vice-versa is possible.
i.e., only the super soul that has created an avataar can alter it if required.
( I'll explain this in another post as to how can this happen and when all did it happen in our epics.... )
5. Can the super soul at its will dissolve all its avataars to recreate a whole new bunch of avataars irrespective of whether those old avataars would like to still live / continue the way they have been ever since they were created from the same.
Ans: Yes. The complete authority on all those avataars is vested with the super soul ShreemannaaraayaNa himself and at given point in time he can recall all his avataars to refurbish them as per the latest requirements in the process of their recreation ......

Ok now that the above analogy ideally should have equipped the readers with a decent enough understanding on how the concept of an mortal avataar operates.....,
let's come back to our original point where in we were discussing the greatness of Lord ShreeRaama and that of his name as the taarakamantram.....
In addition to the point that sage VashishTa used his supreme intellect to come up with an extremely powerful name ' Raama ' , one need to understand the context where in Lord ShreemannaaraayaNa chose to be born as a full fledged human being in the lineage of the mighty Suryavamsham upon request from all the celestial beings who were sure that Raavana would not let anyone to live peacefully as he was successful in earning a boon from Brahmadeva as a result of his staunch penance where in he was blessed that he would be invincible by all the known species of living beings / celestial beings other than Naravaanara.
When Brahma Deva asked as to why he ignored Humanbeings and apes from his list, he was so arrogant in his answer by saying
" Aah....These filthy humans and apes.....
I don't even consider them as any worthy living beings. So I just ignored them as they can't even fit in to the probability of having dare to approach me, set aside the thoughts of killing me..... "
With this Lord Brahmadeva soon spinned up his super computer calculations and has successfully arrived at that 2% probability of Raavana getting killed by Naravaanara and granted him the boon as asked by that stupid fellow......
Hence Lord Shreemannaarayana had not only the responsibility of annihilating the Raavanaasura as a part of his usual demon annihilation activity but also had to shoulder the responsibility of showing this world how great a human being can be, so that no demon would ever repeat the arrogance of Ravanaasura who did a grave insult to the entire mankind by saying so.....
Hence Lord ShreemannNaarayaana had to take an unusually powerful yet quite a simple form of human being that would establish the greatness of human race in this mortal world as well as across all the celestial worlds, that is to be heralded by all the times to come........
Hence he chose to take the mighty ShreeRaamaavataaram
after 12 months of stay in queen Kaulsalya's womb as a result of king Dasharatha's putrakaameshTiyaagam......
While there are many interpretations of what exactly the name Raama means,
the simplest of all reads,
"ramayati iti raamaha......"
i.e., that which makes us engrossed in it is
' Raama ' and certainly the entire cosmos was engrossed in him during the RaamaRaavanaSangraamam........
and always everafter once ShreeVaalmiki's Raamayan got percolated in to the heart of every devotee born in this world.....
Such is the magnanimity of Raama....
Such is the valor of Raama.......
Such is the intellect Of Raama.......
Such is the kindness of Raama.......
Such is the unparalleled personality called 'Raama'.........
Hence ShreeRaama has become taarakamantram for every living being on this planet and also for all the beings of various celestial worlds as well......
and thus
saint poet ShreeAnnamaachaarya has described Lord ShreeVenkataRaamachandra as...
" KalaDannavaaripaali kannuleduTi mooriti.......velaya Shree VenkaTaadrivibhuDeetaDu.......
RaamachadruDiTadu RaghyveeruDu......" 😊
Wishing one and all a very happy
Shree Shaarvari ShreeRaamaNavami......
