it conveys their optimistic and altruistic approach in handling the situation and the person....
When someone conveys in quite a polite tone...
" Set aside all such witty things...and focus on your good work..."
it conveys their ability to understand what's important and what's not while judging a person and also their prudence in welcoming a person on a positive note...
When someone means
" Achieving the required target / goal is important for us and all other petty things are just to be ignored...."
it conveys their effectiveness in guiding a person towards the ought to be reached destination in the most possible sober manner....
When someone says....
" I'll do the best possible that I can to help you out with your situations and circumstances.."
it conveys their empathetic approach towards taking accountability for the well being of the person....
On the other hand
when someone says / means / conveys all sorts of antagonize communicative perspectives to the above stated examples,

" Are you good... will you stick.... Are you believable...Don't cross lines... "

So, before you assume others as
" Some typical normal mediocre people..."
never forget the fact that
" All the great people this world has been celebrating too were just some mediocre people until they were handled and guided by some great people to uplift and make them equally great with their exceptionally intelligent and compassionate approach to bring out the best in them thus establishing their greatness as well...."
