While a few festivals / celebrations have a specific puranik legend associated with them and are celebrated on a given day as per the lunar almanac, another few have made their way in to the mighty Indian history because of certain events that have occurred at a specific place during a specific incident...

One of India's national festivals, Medaaram's Sammakka Saaralamma tribal festival is one of it's kind large scale celebrations in the deep forests of the then Kaakateeya empire, having an exceptionally strong ever increasing devotee influx similar to that of lord Shree Venkateshwara temple's ever increasing devotee influx in the deep forests of Nallamala Seshachalam reseve forest area because of the higher order divine power that parvades all over the respective pilgrimage centres.

While the 13th century legend of the valiant warriors Sammakka, Saaralamma, Govinda Raaju, Pagididda Raaju, Jampanna, is a well-known epic that is discussed even today, their transformation into tribal Gods makes this festival and its mystical celebration style a very special and intriguing one..

Every civilization of this world has their own speciality in terms of dialects, codes, symbols, gods, culture, food, clothing, decorations, and so on and so forth... 

Puri Jagannath Rathayaatra / Chariot festival and the associated Navakalebara utsawam has its own mystical celebration style that is not easily comprehensible for any specific scientific reasoning and discussion by the typical social human beings...

Medaaram's Sammakka Saaralamma Tribal festival and it's associated mystical "Kumkuma bharina / vermillion casket worship" too has its own higher order divine equations that remain obscure and unfathomable for the typical social human beings for various reasons....
