Every professional, artist, official, dignitary etc has their own personal, religious, social, family issues / incidents etc, that have absolutely nothing to do with their professional journey / field work. Hence, irrelevant issues must not be considered to congratulate someone on some occasion or event or achievement.

I am sure no prudent person asks a farmer's religion or some other attribute before buying a bag of rice or wheat grains, from a shop, grown by a farmer in their farm and no prudent person downloads a soothing music album after asking someone's religion that has composed that marvelous track and thus no prudent person shall bother about someone congratulating an artist / professional without considering the irrelevant personal stuff pertaining to their religion, family issues, etc..
