It can be usually observed that for every temple, the most important event would be to celebrate the consecration ceremony as an annual festival accompanied by the BhagawadKalyaana Mahotsawam.....
We celebrate our marriage day yearly once with our near and dear to remember our wedding event......
Whereas a BhagawadKalyana Mahotsawam is celebrated any number of times everywhere because it is meant for the universal well being of one and all...
It can be observed that in almost all the famous pilgrimage centers like Tirumala, AlarlmaelMangaapuram, ShreeShailam, Bhadraachalam, Vemulawada, YadagiriGutta, and so on and so forth......
The mighty Bhagawad Kalyaana Mahotsawam is performed everyday as an Arjita Seva made available to all the devotees........
As a matter of fact, a few temples
[ like Muramalla Shree BhadraKaali Veereshwara Swaamy Kalyaanotsawam, ShreenivaasaMangaapuram ShreeKalyaanaVenkateshwaraSwaamy Kalyaanotsawam ] are very famous for their BhagawadKalayanotsawa Arjita Seva performed as their daily prime custom / ritual followed, for all the magnanimity brought by it to all the devotees participating in the event......
The phrase "ShubhamKarotuKalyaanam....." aptly describes the magnanimity of the BhagawadKalyaana Mahotsawa Vaibhawam.....
At a given point in time....
For an A person, getting married is the Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
For a B person, begetting progeny is Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
For a C person, getting a big own house is the Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
......
For an X person, being successful and profitable in their business is the Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
For a Y person, being successful and getting rewarded in their profession is the Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
For a Z person, being successful in yielding as many crops as possible is the Shubham being prayed for by him/her...
and so on and so forth.....
each and every given person has a certain necessary desire/wish/dream/goal/objective according to their Varnaashrama Dharmam in their lives and they keep on spending their efforts to achieve the same....
It is in this journey, a human being wishes to be abundantly blessed by the helping hand of an unfathomable universal divine force by terming it as God, by attributing a certain name and form to the same so that it becomes a comprehendable entity to approach and pray....
Mud is present everywhere, but one cannot pour water into the mud and expect it to sustain and return as cool water to savour the same.....
In-order to achieve the same, the mud must be processed by a potter on his wheel in-order to transform it into a pot and after drying the same, the mud is now ready by taking the name and a form of a 'clay pot' to bless us with the cool water....
Similarly, an unfathomable universal divine force is processed into a comprehendable entity named as a so and so ArchaSwaroopam unto which our prayers are offered in-order to get blessed abundantly by the same in our respective endeavours.....
Mud is present everywhere....God is present everywhere....
Unless a potter transforms the universally available mud into a clay pot it isn't readily available to transform the water we pour into the mud, into naturally available nutrient rich cool water......
Similarly,
Unless an archaka/acharya / a guru transforms the universally available entity known as God into a divine power held by an Archamoorthy, the divine force isn't readily available to transform the dharmik wishes we pray for into our blessings....
As described by the Shaastram,
Para, Vyooha, Vibhava, Archa, Antaryaami are the 5 forms of the paramaatma bestowed to mankind in order to get blessed by that unfathomable universal divine force...
Of which, the 'Archa Swaroopam' is the most easiest and approachable form of God to listen to our prayers and get blessed by the same......
"The entity that transcends all the known and unknown comprehendable realms has made itself considerate enough to step down from the higher universal strata in-order to be approached and to get worshiped with ease by all the mortals...." would be an apt explanation for the BhagawadArchaSwaroopam.....
and thus the so called "idol worship" is the only means for a common man to start his/her amateur journey towards knowing and understanding the immeasurable, unquantifiable, intangible, universal divine force named God.....
In this journey, many a revered maharshi has performed a great penance filled with knowledge and wisdom and had a vision of a so and so system of worship named as "Bhagawad Aagama Shaastram" that would please the paramaatma in order to get blessed profusely by the same.....
Among all such various visions, the Paancharaatra Aagama Shaastram blessed to the mankind by Shree Naaraayana Maharshi
is considered as the most applicable way of worship in this Kaliyugam and is thus followed by all the well known ShreeVaishnava shrines...
( the 'Vaikhaanasa Aagama Shaastram' blessed to the mankind by Shree Vikhanasa Maharshi was chosen by lord Shree Venkateshwara Swamy for his Shatkaala Araadhanaa sampradayaam atop the Tirumala holy hills for a specific reason to sustain the higher order magnitudes of the universal divine force continuously captured by the 'apraakRuta ArchaaSwaroopam' standing mighty in the AaanandaNilayam in a specific rare posture named as "VeerasthaanakaDhruvaMoorthi" and thus the Vaikhaanasa Aagama Shaastram is a lesser practiced strict system of worship when compared to that of the most commonly practised form of worship known as Paancharaatra Aagama Sampradaayam......)
There is difference between pouring some naturally available ground water say borewell water / saline water into a clay pot and expecting it to quench our thirst fully...
and pouring river water supplied by our respective city's drinking water / Godavari river water supply system into a similar clay pot placed on a properly established sand base and wrapped in a wet cloth....
The cool water obtained in the latter case is a much more cherished entity compared to that of the former case though the clay pot in both the cases being the same entity......
Similarly, the system of a "Bhagawad Kalyaana Mahotsawam" is akin to the latter case that blesses mankind profusely according to their respective prayers offered during the Kalyaanotsawam and thus the Bhagawad Kalyaana Mahotsawam has gained significant prominence across all the systems of worship and the same can be observed during almost all the festivels......
MaargaShira maasa Bhogi festivel is accompanied by Shree GodaaRanganaathaswaamy kalyaana mahotsawam......
Maagha Bahula Chaturdashi MahaaShivaraatri festivel is accompanied by Shree PaarvateeParameshwara kalyaana mahotsawam.........
Chaitra Shuddha Navami ShreeRaamaNavami festival is accompanied by Shree Shree Shubhakrut naama samvatsara 2023 Phaalguna Shuddha Chaturdashi prayukta Shree KaaryaSiddhi Abhaayaanjaneya Swaamy vaari 3rd vaarshikoatsawa aaraadhana
