Needless to say , has been the most interesting, sought after, dreamy, hyped, talk of the town since a few years.... And now a gleam glam reality right in-front of the eyes of every Hyderabadi....! 
While it certainly is a metamorphosis in the ~400+ year old pearl city's grandeur, making it a top notch global city on par with every other metro across the world, it is interesting to see a few points from an 'Aam-Aadmi' perspective( setting aside its regular technical & financial aspects ).
The first of its kind project, that has now enabled to connect every nook and corner of the city in just an hour or two.
Right from a normal vegetable / fruits vendor on the street, to a common man, from a high class merchant to a multi-millionaire in the city, operational METRO has been an eagerly awaited dream come true for every good reason it is going to bring in to the lives of all the citizens.....
Every ones wait to board an operational regular service, literally reflected how two distant lovers keep waiting to meet each other soon, knowing that they would travel together forever going forward, but are unable to figure out from when and how, which is pretty much over now 
1. Less carbon foot print / pollution / glamour lose woes / hectic chaotic journeys / gas guzzlers / messing up with those 'invisible pot holes' and all....
2. More frequent / hassle free distant commutes, on-time presence at the major railway stations while going on vacations / on-time reach for an ambulance / and all....
3. Literally a large festival for small / mid sized land / house owners, with the already sky rocketed land value around the metro stations' vicinity.
4. And a hard moment for those who delayed / missed out owing a piece of land.
On the whole, it is going to establish a legendary mark on the brand image of Hyderabad enjoining the elite league of Metro cities across the nation and a nostalgic moment for many to categorize themselves as Hyderabadis before and after METRO with an added privilege of "Aapka address ka near by Metro pillar ID kya hai' ....
