For example, if my wife and I have created some kites for the Sankranti kite flying festival using simple color papers available with us...and

my wife took a few of my kites and went to her folks to add some water colors, stars and sparkles to re-design them as per her wish without telling me...

then in this hypothetical scenario, it is quite obvious that I will love and respect flying the plain color kites designed by me over the ones re-designed by her irrespective of whatever great stuff they are and how shiny they might be.. because my self-esteem doesn't let me appreciate others' imposed designs....though I don't hate those other kites re-designed by her, in-order to give the generic respect she is ought to be given....

Similarly,

If, I have certain requirements, certain parameters, certain dreams, certain vision, to create my own simple, elegant, and a proper house for my peaceful and healthy living...

then my self-esteem doesn't let me appreciate others' imposed designs....though I don't have to hate others' designs, in-order to give the generic respect everyone is given...

So, an intellectual must not be forced to consider some old useless crappy designs or some new senseless harmful designs, when he is being guided in silence by the most authentic spiritual authority that have created a simple design for his consideration based on which he can get inspired to create his own customized designs later.....
