Shree Narendranaath datta, very well known by the global name of Swami Vivekananda, (12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902) and his universal noble spirit of Hinduism for the true welfare and well-being of every person on the planet who loves to live a peaceful, meaningful, and fruitful life, successfully
celebrates 161th jayanthi all over the world.....
A once in a millennium personality, that has rejuvenated and transformed the definition of Hinduism from
"a religion prevailing in a country of cows and farmers who run around swamijis / priests worshiping some idols in the name of some gods and goddesses"
to
"a religion that is an immaculate power house of universal knowledge and wisdom capable of transforming the entire world into a global village that thrives in peace and prosperity by imbibing the true spirit of Sanaatana Dharmam, (superimposed with the name "Hinduism")
by his unparalleled preachings filled with practice and exudence....
He emphasized the importance of swaadhyaayam / self-learning as the most important and the highest means of attaining the divine state one wishes to achieve by harnessing the unlimited innate potential held by every human being trying to find his / her true self through which any and everything becomes achievable and attainable with the will power of an impeccable resolution filled with resilience....
Have you ever observed the eco friendly green premises of any ShreeRamaKrishna mutt, that are filled with a great peaceful ambience and book shops / libraries displaying a variety of small yet significantly powerful books available for self study and purchase as well for a nominal price...?
It is via this literature yagnyam, the divine spirit of his guruji Shree Ramakrishna paramahamsa, gets instilled into all those thousands and thousands of disciples that have visited and also that are yet to visit them to find their true self in a tranquil state of mind.....
There isn't any imposed curricula or syllabi for a person to become enlightened in-order to dwell in the divinity manifested within.... Hence, the literary treasure held by any Ramakrishna mutt is spread across umpteen books ranging from as simple as Shree Vishnusahasra naama stotram / simple Haribhajans to as complex as "A journey to within to understand the soul and it's unfathomable power...", so that the reader can pick one according to his/her normal/mediocre/elevated literacy and wisdom strata to continue with their swaadhyaaya yagnyam for their and thus for everyone's well being so that their wisdom quotient keeps getting better with each progressive day to think better and live better...
If a person isn't learning to improve and get better in every given concerned aspect in his / her limited span of life journey, then there isn't much difference between a pig that lives only to eat and dwell in the mud and a moron who lives like a shabby pig......(no offence to be drawn for quoting a comparison with that of a pig that is born for it's very purpose...)
The phrase "Paramahamsa" is rightly accorded to Shree Guru Ramakrishna by all his disciples because he taught them to live life like a swan, that is believed to possess a great trait of separating the milk and water from a combined mixture...,
to become prudent enough to recognize 'sath' and 'asath' present in this world as mixed up entities and then to assimilate only the 'sath' for becoming better and brighter in our respective life paths...
I must thank my college friend, Sandeep Pasupuleti, one of the highly intellectual minds of BVRIT's 2004-2008 batch of ECE..,for introducing me to the environs of Shree Ramakrishna mutt, Lower Tankbund, Hyd, during my engineering days... after which I have found the profound impact of Swami Vivekananda and his spirit on me, by playing a crucial role in redefining my knowledge and wisdom quotient in applying the same to every sphere of my life since then....
I was also fortunate enough to introduce myself to the carnatik music basics and Annamaachaarya Sankeertanams' weekend classes conducted by Shree Ramakrishna mutt, amidst my already tightly occupied engineering studies' timetable, because I was told by another friend, that we can leverage our 360 rupees' monthly route RTC rural bus pass to travel anywhere in the city during the weekends...🙂
The Annamaachaarya Sankeertanaa saaraswata swaadhyaayam, that I got introduced to in the Shree Ramakrishna mutt, has brought me much closer to lord Shree Venkateshwara, who has become my everything from the subsequent times, for all that it gave me to endure thru the toughest
tides of my life by holding on to the magnanimity of lord Shree Venkateshwara's Sharanagati / Prapatti that has always stood by me to overcome all the hardships by wearing a forced smile to keep going with the world around.....
If a philosophy / a belief / a practice / a religion / a worship or any other entity, that we run after all thru our life living or serving it, isn't making our life better, peaceful, healthy, meaningful and thus fruitful for us and for everyone around as well, then what's the point in holding on to it...?
This kind of rightful all-inclusive introspective journey filled with knowledge and wisdom is the cardinal principle of Swami Vivekananda's ideology of modern Hinduism that elevates his every follower under the tutelage of Shree Ramakrishna paramahamsa's eternal divine grace, to make every human being a divine being and a harbinger of universal well-being and peace...
Hail Swami Vivekananda..!
Hail Shree Ramakrishna paramahamsa...!!
