తెలంగాణ ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి క‌ల్వ‌కుంట్ల చంద్ర‌శేఖ‌ర‌రావు కుటుంబ స‌భ్యులు స‌హా మంత్రివ‌ర్గంతో క‌లిసి త్వ‌ర‌లో తిరుమ‌ల శ్రీవారిని ద‌ర్శించుకోనున్నారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం ఆవిర్భ‌విస్తే శ్రీవారికి స్వ‌ర్ణాభ‌ర‌ణాలు చేయిస్తాన‌ని కేసీఆర్ వేంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర‌స్వామిని మొక్కుకున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. తెలంగాణ ప్ర‌జ‌ల ఆకాంక్ష నెర‌వేరి రాష్ట్రం సిద్ధించింది. దీంతో అనుకున్నట్టుగా తిరుమ‌ల తిరుప‌తి దేవ‌స్థానం ఖాతాలో తెలంగాణ ప్ర‌భుత్వం రూ.5 కోట్లు జ‌మ చేసిందట. ఈ నిధుల‌తో శ్రీవారికి క‌మ‌లం న‌మూనాతో సాలిగ్రామ హారం, ఐదు పేట‌ల కంఠె త‌యారు చేయించాల‌ని దేవ‌స్థానానికి సూచించింది.
ఈ మేర‌కు టీటీడీ టెండ‌ర్లు ఆహ్వానించి కోయంబ‌త్తూరుకు చెందిన కీర్తిలాల్ జ్యూయ‌ల‌ర్స్‌ను ఎంపిక చేసి స్వ‌ర్ణాభ‌ర‌ణాలు త‌యారు చేయించింది. 14.200 కిలోల సాలిగ్రామ హారానికి రూ.3,70,76,200, 4.650 కిలోల కంఠెకు రూ.1,21,41,150 ఖ‌ర్చు అయిన‌ట్టు టీటీడీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఇవి తయారై ప‌దినెల‌లు అవుతోందట. ఈ ఆభ‌ర‌ణాల‌ను స‌మ‌ర్పించేందుకు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి కేసీఆర్ తిరుమ‌ల వెళ్లాల‌ని నిర్ణ‌యించుకున్నారు. ప్ర‌త్యేక రైలులో తిరుప‌తికి వెళ్లి మొక్కును తీర్చుకోనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది

Telangana CM to offer gift to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala
Tirumala: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to gift a golden Salagrama ‘haram’ and a Kantabharanam to the temple of Lord Venkateswara here ahead of the Assembly Budget sessions.
It is said that 18 kg of gold has gone into the making of the cherished gift, the cost of which is put at around Rs. 5 crore.
Much exercise is believed to have been made in finalising the design of the precious gift, which, at last, will be akin to the centuries-old ‘Salagrama haram’ that is normally adorned to the icon inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
The Telangana Government has entrusted the responsibility of getting the noble gift made to the TTD, the sole custodian of the hill temple. The TTD, in turn, invited tenders and entrusted the job to the reputed 'Kirtilal jewellers' from Coimbatore in the neighbouring Tamil Nadu. The temple staff was also asked to corroborate with the size and length of the ornament.
It may be recalled that Mr. Rao vowed to present gifts to temples across Andhra, Telanagana, and Rayalseema regions if he met with success in his mission of achieving statehood for Telangana.
Sources said that the ‘haram’ consists of circular golden balls ( gundlu ) with the sacred ‘Saligramams’ inside, and the weight of each ball is expected to be around 400 grams.
Mr. Rao is expected to personally visit Tirumala to present the gift. When contacted, TTD Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao has confirmed that the treasured gift is ready and awaits formal presentation.
However, he said, that the TTD is yet to receive any official communiqué with regard to the actual date of presentation.
